With your vision, you guide product development and ensure that the product continues to meet the needs of both existing and new target groups. What you do
- You define and monitor the product vision and roadmap for the software product and guide its further modernization.
- You prioritize product development with the development team and ensure the continuity, quality, and stability of the application.
- You ensure that contractual agreements, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements are in order and manage for a financially healthy and profitable product.
- You balance customer wishes, customization, and product standardization, translating feedback from key customers and market developments into concrete product choices.
- You collaborate with Sales on commercial opportunities and product propositions.
- You ensure that product knowledge is built, secured, and made accessible within the organization.
- You optimize product support by structuring support questions, bugs, and customer wishes, translating recurring issues into structural product improvements.
- You leverage AI to further automate product support, including developing and feeding a specialized AI assistant with current product knowledge.
- You work with development on the further modernization of the software product and its integration with a future-generation architecture.

What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level, preferably in business administration, computer science, commercial economics, or similar.
- Education or certification in Product Ownership, Agile/Scrum, or product management, e.g., PSPO, is a plus.
- Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product role within a software environment.
- Experience in defining and monitoring a product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
- Sufficient technical affinity to engage in substantive discussions with development.
- Being energized by modernizing and future-proofing existing software.
- Strong in connecting different disciplines and easily collaborating with development, support, operations, sales, and customers.
- Analytical and pragmatic, able to reduce complex issues to clear choices and priorities.
- An eye for both customer interest and the commercial and financial health of a product.
- Knowing how to build, secure, and make product knowledge accessible within an organization.
- Experience with AI or a strong interest in its possibilities for smarter product knowledge and support is a plus.
