As an ambulatory home supervisor, you work with clients from diverse target groups, with support needs in almost all areas of life and from various cultural backgrounds. You are a true all-round helper. The main goal is to make clients as self-sufficient as possible, which requires a tailored approach. You use various methodologies and conversation techniques, with genuine interest in the client to improve the situation step by step.
What you will do.
- You visit clients at home, where problems arise, whether due to severe debts, a psychological disorder, parenting questions, addiction issues, or domestic violence.
- You provide hybrid support, alternating home visits and digital appointments via a screen, taking into account what is appropriate for the client. The majority of your appointments take place at clients' homes.
- You work independently with your own caseload but are never alone.
- The role is very varied and requires creativity, resilience, and a solution-oriented perspective.
- You think in possibilities rather than limitations and can put things into perspective.
Profile
- You can respond to great diversity, based on origin, orientation, background, age, gender, faith, and/or norms and values.
- You have a hands-on mentality and perseverance.
- You are able to clearly describe practical situations in writing, for example, for reports to funders.
What they ask
- Relevant HBO diploma (e.g., Social Work, SPH, or MWD) or a relevant MBO-4 diploma with several years of work experience in a similar role.
- Experience with at least 2 of the following target groups/conditions: multi-problem families, youth, NAH, elderly, psychiatry, LVB, addiction.
- Possession of a car or scooter.
Preferences.
- Preferably, an SKJ registration.
