Telecom Infrastructure Project Manager

Contribute to building a modern fiber optic network. The rollout of fiber optic and telecom infrastructure in a region requires dozens of decisions to converge at the right time, such as permits, contractors, and municipal coordination. An engineering firm is looking for a Project Manager to orchestrate this interplay, from customer order to execution.

What you will do.

• Coordinate feeder infrastructure projects from intake to ready for execution: planning, design follow-up, field surveys, permits, stakeholder alignment, and handover to construction teams/external partners
• Follow up on projects and deliver milestones on time, with simultaneous management of multiple projects and proactive risk and blocker mitigation
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure all documentation, permits, and dependencies are in order before handover to the execution teams
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the project process, and co-define, document, and implement new processes, governance structures, and working methods
• Set up reporting mechanisms, KPIs, and project management standards
• Support change management and the adoption of new processes by stakeholders
• Advise management on process optimization and operational excellence

What they ask

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
• At least 3 years of experience in project coordination or management within telecom, utilities, infrastructure
• Proven experience in simultaneously managing multiple infrastructure projects, including contact with municipalities and government agencies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, in Dutch and English
• Excellent planning and organization, even under time pressure
• Risk management and problem-solving ability
• Experience with fieldwork, site visits, and permit procedures within telecom/fiber optic projects
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented in documentation and reporting
