Social psychiatric nurse

A healthcare organization is looking for a social psychiatric nurse for its team. You will help people with long-term psychological complaints maintain stability in their lives and encourage clients to find solutions to their problems themselves.
What you will do.
- Your caseload will primarily consist of clients with recurring psychological complaints who are in (partial) remission.
- The focus is on maintaining recovery, strengthening self-reliance, and preventing relapse.
- You will work with a specially developed treatment program focused on the recovery of social functioning, self-direction, and rediscovering personal strength.
- You will contribute to the (further) development of a Mental Health Network, in close collaboration with social domain partners and other specialized mental health providers.
- You will ensure that clients are placed in the right setting and receive care that best suits their needs.
- You will work in a multidisciplinary team that values joint consultation, coordination, and collaboration.
Responsibilities.
- Working from a generalist, short-term treatment model, such as the KOP model by Rijnders, with a focus on positive and solution-oriented treatment.
- Providing consultation to colleagues and general practitioners based on your specific expertise.
- Working in an environment-oriented manner, actively establishing contacts, and building a relevant network.
- Creating your own caseload by actively networking and collaborating with referrers.
- Offering clients recovery-oriented treatment, including relapse prevention, pharmacotherapy, and care coordination.

What they ask
- A completed education as a social psychiatric nurse (SPV) and a valid BIG registration.
- Work experience as a social psychiatric nurse within mental health care (GGZ).
- The ability to organize work effectively, independently, and structured.
- An active attitude in utilizing a broad internal network of expertise and support.
- An independent way of working, combined with the motivation to contribute to the team's expertise.
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
Preferences.
- Additional training, such as EMDR or other treatment methods.
