To strengthen tasks in the field of public health and prevention, a government organization is temporarily looking for an experienced policy advisor. You will be responsible for a wide range of topics within local health policy.
What you will do.
- Preparation of a new health survey among residents
- Coordination of the survey design
- Initial discussions with a research agency
- Investigating possible subsidy opportunities, including with the province
- Responsible for the Local Youth Prevention Consultation
- Responsible for various regional and local chain approaches, including "Kansrijke Start and Kind naar Gezond Gewicht"
- Participate in regional consultations and translate and implement agreements made locally
- Handle policy areas of alcohol policy enforcement and suicide prevention
- Monitor national and regional developments and advise on them
- Ensure coherence with municipal prevention and health policy
- Contribute to the implementation of GALA and IZA
- Safeguard the connection between prevention, health, youth, and the regional care chain
- Participate in the general practitioner consultation
- Ensure a good connection between the organization, primary care, and other relevant partners
Profile
- Involved in the general practitioner consultation
- Ensure a good connection between the organization, primary care, and other relevant partners
- Experienced health and/or welfare policy advisor who can quickly take over dossiers independently
- Experience with regional collaboration and chain approaches
- Able to switch effectively between policy and implementation
- Capable of bringing different partners together
- Integral perspective
- Administrative sensitivity
- Results-oriented work
What they ask
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a policy advisor within the social domain
Wishes.
- Experience with accountability for temporary funds from the national government, specifically SPUK
- Can work both independently and in a team
- Possesses good communication skills
