Project Officer Communication
As a Project Officer Communication, you will join a well-oiled team that implements the communication strategy of a provincial organization. The communication team supports content colleagues in a wide range of exciting socio-economic initiatives and European projects. This means you will quickly need to familiarize yourself with the diverse themes, the (international) network of partners we collaborate with, and the strategy and procedures established by the organization.
You will report to the coordinator of the Communication team.
What you do
- You execute various communication actions stemming from different European projects.
- You support the content teams and their projects in drafting and implementing communication plans, maintaining an overview of the various communication actions, tools, budget, timings, and agreements.
- You provide general communication advice to your colleagues from different departments.
- You are responsible for the coordination, practical organization, and follow-up of various (project) events and fair participations.
- You rewrite texts tailored to the target audience and adapted to the communication channel (website, newsletters, brochure, video, social media…) in Dutch, French, and English.
What they ask
- You hold a bachelor's degree in a communication field (bachelor of communication, bachelor of applied linguistics…) OR you hold a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of experience in a role where communication is the main task.
