As a psychologist or orthopedagogue, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment within home and elderly care for a healthcare organization. You support various target groups, including rehabilitation, first-line accommodation, psychogeriatrics, somatics, and special care. In addition to individual care for residents, you support care teams with questions related to behavior. You work closely with care teams and fellow therapists and contribute to high-quality, person-centered care.
What you will do.
- Conduct psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological research
- Prepare research reports, diagnoses, and psychological treatment plans
- Perform individual treatments
- Analyze complex problem situations and propose appropriate interventions
- Consult with the client system (clients, relatives) and the multidisciplinary treatment team
- Provide advice, information, and coaching to employees for professional development
- Actively contribute to treatment policy, quality development
- Carefully manage oral and written transfers
Profile
- A completed Master's degree in Psychology, Orthopedagogy, or registration as a GZ-psychologist
- Respectful, tactful, and able to adapt effortlessly to different people and situations
- Possess highly developed social skills: listening, motivating, persuading, and dealing with resistance
- Work accurately, systematically, and with integrity, with an eye for both the well-being and safety of clients
- Stay informed of developments within the field and work according to relevant laws and regulations
- Registration in the NIP professional register is a plus
