What you do
- Act as the point of contact for the customer.
- Be responsible for the planning and completion stages of the audit of the financial statements.
- Conduct tasks aimed at auditing the customer's internal control measures.
- Supervise teams and ensure their duties are carried out.
- Coach less experienced colleagues and assess their performance.
- Work closely with professionals from other disciplines, such as IT specialists, actuaries, and valuation experts.
- Work with different teams, the size of which can vary from 2 to 10 people, with roles ranging from Partner/Director to starter. Everyone on the team has their own responsibilities in order to sign the annual report at the end.
What they ask
- A degree from a university or a university of applied sciences (a degree in Business Economics is preferable but not essential).
- Currently pursuing the Registered Accountant (RA) study program.
- At least two years’ work experience in the audit practice, preferably in the financial sector or an ambition to work in this sector.
- Good command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Good project management (planning and control) skills.
- An effective communicator, with good social skills, and enjoys working in a team.
- Ambitious, talented, and driven.
