As an Azure cloud engineer, you work on the cloud platform as a whole – the engine behind the solutions that workload teams build for a government organization. This means switching between networking, security, compliance, policies, and platform standards. What you do
- Switch between networking, security, compliance, policies, and platform standards.
- Record infrastructure as code with Bicep, Azure Verified Modules, and Azure DevOps.
- Automate work processes.
- Analyze and resolve issues during the setup of Azure environments, such as incorrectly configured identities, stalled network traffic, or blocking security policies.
- Identify and implement platform improvements according to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Build a compliant, secure, and scalable platform that workload teams can rely on.

- Extensive experience as an Azure cloud engineer, platform engineer, or in a similar role within a complex IT environment.
- Experience with Azure networking, security, governance, and compliance.
- Enjoy working with infrastructure as code and experience with Bicep, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, or similar tooling.
- Understanding of what is needed to build and manage a reliable cloud platform for multiple teams, with attention to standardization, automation, and reusability.
- Strong communication skills, focused on collaboration with other teams, and able to identify and implement improvements.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
