As a Policy Communication Advisor, you will work on mobility programs, focusing on two topics. You will coordinate and execute the communication approach for the 'Cycling' theme, aimed at more, further, and safer bicycle use. Additionally, you will collaborate with the communication strategist to refine and implement the communication approach around the mobility transition, ensuring that mobility colleagues communicate jointly and unambiguously to external stakeholders.
What you will do.
- Coordination and execution of the cycling communication approach.
- Maintaining the communication calendar and executing communication activities and expressions (messages and articles for, among others, a government website).
- Coordination and production of photo and video reports; guidance of audiovisual formats.
- Communication around events and opening moments.
- Collaborating with copywriters, designers, photographers, and other stakeholders.
- Refining and executing the action plan for communication about the mobility transition.
- Advising on and executing communication activities from the cycling communication approach.
- Updating website pages about cycling.
- Guiding the video animation about rapid cycling routes.
- Advising on the implementation and use of a mobility app.
- Advising and executing participation and communication activities regarding the social safety of cycle paths.
- Communication advice and execution for the opening of a rapid cycling route.
- Refining and executing the communication approach for the mobility transition.

- Can make messages and stories in text and image purposeful, understandable, and relevant.
- Establishes connections in content and form of communication expressions and between people.
- Engages in dialogue with project leaders and environmental managers about what works in communication and proactively advises on this.

- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a communication advisor.
- Knowledge of and experience with Factor C.
- Experience with CMS systems and Webpower.

- Candidate has at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in communication.
- Candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable experience as a communication advisor.
