As a supervisor, you are at the heart of the practice. You guide people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) during various activities, such as creative workshops, woodworking, cooking, sports, discussion groups, and work-oriented day activities. You work according to the competency-oriented guidance methodology and always focus on what someone can do. Together with the client, you work on personal goals that match their wishes and possibilities.
You stimulate the clients' independence, offer support where necessary, and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks. In this way, you contribute to a safe, pleasant, and meaningful day. Additionally, you are the fixed point of contact for a number of clients. You maintain contact with clients, informal caregivers, and the living arrangement, monitor the progress of care plans, and arrange matters such as WMO indications.
You also take on a task area within the team, for example, in recruitment and selection, scheduling, transport, or finance. This way, you make an important contribution to both the care and the development of the location.
Profile
- You hold a higher professional education (HBO) diploma (agogical) in the field of Care & Welfare or Human & Society.
- You have work experience in a similar position.
- You have the energy to build a new, future-proof team.
- You are a proactive team player and flexible.
- You are empathetic, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented.
