Do you ensure that an absenteeism process not only complies with the law but also leads to the right choices for both the organization and the employee? As an Employability Casemanager, you are the director of the entire process. You are a content expert on the file, monitor progress, and bring together various interests, responsibilities, and advice for sustainable decision-making.
What you do
- You direct and optimize absenteeism and reintegration processes within the frameworks of the Wet verbetering poortwachter (Gatekeeper Improvement Act) and self-insurance for the Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet) and WGA (Work and Income according to Labour Capacity Act) from the internal management model.
- You ensure that these processes comply with social security legislation, privacy guidelines, and internal procedures. You identify risks, monitor legal deadlines, and make well-founded cost-benefit analyses. This contributes to legally correct files and limits the risk of wage sanctions, procedural errors, and unnecessary financial damage.
- You advise managers on complex absenteeism issues, help them make the right considerations, and support them in taking on their role and responsibility in the absenteeism process.
- You monitor the progress of files and coordinate cooperation with company doctors, occupational health services, insurers, and other external partners. By connecting the right parties at the right time, you ensure an effective process and optimal use of interventions and insurance possibilities.
- You look beyond the individual file: you identify patterns in absenteeism and collaboration and discuss these with managers. This contributes to prevention, sustainable employability, and healthy business operations.
- You analyze the progress and status of files and damage cost developments. You translate the insights gained into steering information and improvement proposals with which working methods and results can be specifically adjusted.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and combines substantive expertise with the ability to think from a business perspective and take the lead.
- Works in a structured and planned manner and maintains an overview of complex files and processes with a high quality awareness. Knows how to distinguish main and side issues and sets the right priorities.
- Naturally engages people, even when interests diverge. With persuasive power, creates support and provides direction to the process to arrive at the right decisions.
- Experience in an environment where dynamics are high and various interests converge.
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level and preferably a completed CROV or RCCM training.
