A performing arts house is looking for a versatile technician to strengthen its in-house team. The house organizes public and school performances, workshops, and discussions.
What you will do.
- Setup and dismantling of own creations and receptive performances
- Technical standby during performances
- Live operation of lighting, sound
- Responsible for the maintenance of theatre technical installations
- Contribute to an orderly and safe working environment
Profile
- Theatre technical diploma and/or experience in a professional theatre technical environment
- Versatile and interested in all aspects of stage techniques
- Strong specialization in or interest in sound
- Works smoothly and safely
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Energetic, driven, and communicates appropriately and efficiently
- Affinity with the operation of a (youth) theatre or willing to learn within that context
- Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend work
- Driving license B
Desired skills.
- Strong specialization or passion for sound
- Knowledge of digital networks
- Knowledge of and experience with Ma2 lighting consoles
- Experience operating lighting or sound consoles during performances
- Experience with rigging
- Driving license C
