Clinical trial assistant thoracic surgery

A colleague is sought to temporarily strengthen the team within a thoracic surgery department. The role focuses on clinical studies and patient contact. This is a temporary contract for maternity leave replacement.

What you will do.

• Support and facilitate the execution of research projects and/or clinical studies on behalf of the principal investigator.
• Ensure the qualitative and timely execution of clinical studies with optimal use of resources.
• Support patient inclusion and collect and follow up on patient data from internal and external research projects.
• Be responsible for planning research within the framework of the studies.
• Provide psychosocial support and inform patients and their family members.
• Perform technical procedures such as blood draws, ECGs, and parameter checks.
• Work on a fixed schedule without weekend or night activity, with a certain degree of flexibility in hours possible in mutual consultation.

• Interest in clinical scientific research.
• Organizational talent and sense of initiative.
• Good social and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Basic knowledge of common software programs.
• Ability to work independently and punctually.
• A clear criminal record extract (model 596-2) is necessary if this position involves contact with minors.
