The After-School Care location is situated in a sports park, a place where movement and fun are central. This is a large After-School Care location with no less than 88 child places divided into four groups. Thanks to the large gymnasium, children have plenty of space to play sports, play together, and expend their energy. At the same time, there is ample attention for rest and security, with a private group room where children can retreat.
What you will do.
- Providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children
- Developing and guiding various activities, both indoors and outdoors
- Stimulating the social, emotional, and motor development of the children
- Maintaining good communication with parents and colleagues
- Creating a cozy and homely atmosphere where every child feels welcome
- Picking up children after school and starting the afternoon with a moment of relaxation and togetherness
- Offering a choice of sports activities, free play, or creative moments
What they ask
- A completed relevant MBO or HBO education (e.g., SPW, Pedagogy, or Teaching Assistant)
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- A VOG (Certificate of Conduct) or willingness to apply for one
