Apart from internal improvement trajectories, you act as the coordinating engine: you are the driving force ensuring that actions are pursued vigorously and operational bottlenecks are proactively removed. By strongly managing both aspects, you guarantee that the organization can handle accelerated procurement processes smoothly. You will work in a support department that focuses on internal operations, tender coordination, and capacity planning.
As a project manager, you will lead internal improvements from start to finish, support the organization process-wise, and act as a persistent enforcer where implementation threatens to stall.
What you do
- Lead various internal projects contributing to the optimization of internal operations and capacity planning.
- Coordinate and provide substantive support for large tenders and acquisition programs.
- Proactively follow up on actions with all involved internal and external parties, including demanders and suppliers.
- Monitor progress and ensure that both internal projects and tenders remain strictly within agreed frameworks.
What they ask
- Demonstrable functioning at HBO or university level.
- Background in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Significant work experience gained within large, complex organizations.
- Extremely strong in stakeholder management and capable of decisive communication to achieve results.
- Demonstrable experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma and/or PRINCE2 is a plus.
Practical
- A security screening (VGB) is part of the application process.
- Dutch nationality is required for civilian applicants.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is a condition for appointment.
- A background check (criminal record, financial matters) averaging 8 weeks may be part of the selection procedure.
