What you do
As an ANIOS, you guide employees with health complaints that affect their work. You discuss their situation, make a medical assessment, and together look at appropriate next steps. Your activities include:
- Conducting medical consultations with employees
- Assessing complaints and their impact on work performance
- Guiding employees during their reintegration
- Advising on return to work and capacity
- Maintaining contact with employers and other involved parties
- Recognizing signs that could lead to long-term absenteeism
- Advising on prevention and sustainable employability
- Consulting with colleagues and other experts within the occupational health service
You work in a multidisciplinary team with, for example, practice assistants, occupational health nurses, and work & health advisors, allowing you to learn the profession from various perspectives.
What they ask We are looking for a basic doctor with an interest in the interaction between work and health. No experience in occupational medicine is required; newcomers are also welcome. Furthermore, you possess:
- A completed medical degree and a valid BIG registration, or you will complete your training soon
- A driving license B
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Strong communication skills
- An independent and proactive attitude
- Interest in prevention, labor, and sustainable employability
