Company Doctor Practice Assistant

As a POB, you conduct consultations independently and guide employees through the absence and reintegration process.

• You work under the delegation of tasks from the company doctor, and good coordination is an important part of your work.
• Various opportunities exist for experienced POBs, considering the collaboration and task delegation within an organization.

What you will do.

• Conduct consultations with employees under the delegation of tasks from the company doctor.
• Guide employees through the absence and reintegration process.
• Discuss reintegration progress, identify changes, and meticulously document your findings.
• Coordinate with the company doctor and collaborate with case managers, occupational experts, and other professionals.
• Maintain contact with employers and contribute to appropriate follow-up steps within the reintegration process.

• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
• Completed training as a Company Doctor Practice Assistant (POB).
• Experience in absence guidance or occupational health services.
• Knowledge of the 'Wet verbetering poortwachter' (Gatekeeper Improvement Act).
• Strong communication skills and ability to conduct consultations independently.
• Understanding of when independent action is possible and when coordination with the company doctor is necessary.
