Product Owner
At an IT service provider, you will work as a Product Owner on assignments for various organizations with high complexity, such as government institutions, large corporations, and data-intensive environments. Incorrect prioritization can lead to significant delays. You are the link between strategy and delivery, and between management that wants direction and the team that needs to make that direction actionable.
You will be employed by the IT service provider and deployed to clients in sectors such as government, finance, and logistics. The technology, environment, and priorities vary per assignment, but the expectation is that you always demonstrate ownership.
What you do
- You are ultimately responsible for the backlog, prioritization, and roadmap.
- You take this responsibility, even when stakeholders have conflicting interests.
- You translate abstract organizational goals into concrete product choices.
- You focus on value, compliance, speed, and continuity.
- You leave teams and products structurally better than you found them.
What they ask
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in complex IT environments.
- Demonstrable Agile/Scrum experience; SAFe is a strong plus.
- PSPO I and PSPO II certification (additional certifications are a plus).
- Experience within enterprise organizations, government, or infrastructure environments.
- Affinity with data-intensive environments and a high-level understanding of architecture, integrations, migrations, security, and compliance.
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
