Within a Projects and Implementation department of a government organization, one is responsible for the execution of large investment and/or renovation projects. The department works according to IPM in clusters on primary task areas such as roads, water systems, dredging, water safety, and the water chain. Knowledge is shared and secured in a uniform working method via IPM expert groups.
The Water Chain program faces an enormous project challenge, with wastewater treatment plants and sludge processing installations requiring large-scale renovation. This is supplemented by stricter European regulations, climate and sustainability objectives. The organization is transitioning from a project-driven approach to a programmatic approach for the Water Chain.
What you do
As part of contract management within the IPM model, you are responsible for the contractual implementation of projects within the Water Chain program. You work within the IPM framework on a programmatic approach for projects, focusing on large-scale renovation and implementation issues.
- Establishing and monitoring contractual principles arising from the internal client, customer wishes, and the general program of requirements.
- Coordinating the contract team with various disciplines, including contract advisory, management, and supervision.
- Ensuring alignment between the different disciplines and securing internal support for the contractual elaboration of design and implementation issues.
What they ask
- PRINCE2 certification or willingness to obtain it within one month of assignment.
- Driving license B.
- VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it within two weeks of assignment commencement.
- CV of maximum five A4 pages, clearly legible and written in Dutch.
- Submit two references (company name, referee name, referee phone number).
Wishes:
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
- Experience in a similar assignment.
- Experience with sludge processing installations.
- Demonstrable independence in execution, work attitude, and communication skills.
