As an environmental manager, you ensure that the project environment is ready before execution begins. You bring interests together, organize collaboration with the environment, and ensure that projects are administratively, legally, and socially feasible. You work on complex infrastructural projects with a visible impact on the living environment. You ensure that projects are not only technically feasible but can also be successfully realized socially.
What you will do.
- Manage all environmental aspects within infrastructural projects.
- Develop the environmental strategy and translate it into a concrete approach.
- Identify stakeholders and build sustainable relationships with residents, businesses, municipalities, water authorities, network operators, and other partners.
- Organize participation and communication with stakeholders.
- Manage permits, spatial planning procedures, cables and pipelines, traffic measures, real estate, archaeology, and other conditioning activities.
- Be responsible for the Client Requirements Specification (KES) process.
- Advise project leaders and IPM teams on opportunities, risks, and administrative sensitivities.
- Assess the environmental approach of contractors during tenders and execution.
- Ensure that projects are not only technically feasible but also socially viable.

- A completed HBO education, for example, public administration, spatial planning, civil engineering, or similar.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an environmental manager or advisor within infrastructural or area-oriented projects.
- Experience with stakeholder management, participation, and conditioning.
- Affinity with project-based work, preferably within the IPM methodology.
- Excellent communication skills and administrative sensitivity.
