As an Internal Patient Transport Employee, you are an important point of contact for patients during their movements within a healthcare institution. You ensure smooth, safe, and humane transport of patients on foot, in a wheelchair, or in bed. Thanks to your friendly and empathetic approach, patients feel seen, reassured, and comfortable during their transfer.
What you do
- You transport and accompany patients between different departments.
- You offer moral support to patients if necessary during their journey.
- You work independently, but are also in close contact with care teams in various departments.
- You observe discretion and professional secrecy during every transfer.
Profile
- You have a secondary education diploma.
- You are a strong communicator and speak fluent Dutch.
- You are discreet, social, and know how to interact with patients respectfully.
- You like to take initiative and work proactively and responsibly.
- You can work independently but also function excellently in a team.
- You have good physical condition: walking long distances or pushing patients is not a problem for you.
- You thrive in a work environment that can sometimes be busier and draw energy from it.
