Solutions Engineer

A dynamic, remote-first SaaS scale-up with a team of 30 incredible people from over 15 countries, all working from various locations across Europe. With new product plans in the pipeline, the organization is looking to build its Customer Success team and is now looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer, with a special interest in Product Ownership to help contribute to its success.
What you do
- Build and deliver robust experiences and ensure it continues to work well for customers.
- Build integrations using a proprietary (TypeScript) framework.
- Provide customer support; answer questions and take support requests, ensuring integrations and content issues are resolved.
- Maintain accurate records on the internal ticketing system.
- Create custom integrations, sometimes bending the framework beyond what it was intended for.
- Set up and maintain quality standards for different use cases and content experiences.
- Collaborate with the development team on use case blockers and needs, advocating for priority tasks.
- Provide updates to key stakeholders on product status.
- Oversee Quality Assurance process, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
A typical week might look like:
- Daily check-ins with the development team - specifying requirements on new tickets and evaluating development team work.
- Daily huddles with the customer success team - checking in on work progress.
- Weekly planning sessions with customer success - determining priorities for the week.
- Time with leadership prioritizing incidental development work.
- Weekly huddle with the whole company - gaining updates on team progress.
- Fulfilling Solutions Engineer tasks: onboarding new customers, making and QA-ing integrations, meetings with customers, launching integrations, upgrades, and pilots.
- Fulfilling Product Owner tasks (approximately 8 hours / week): backlog management, managing release notes / standardization documentation, checking in with other Solutions Engineers regarding technical needs, trying to apply the technology in new ways.

- 4-5 years of Solutions Engineer and Product Owning experience or similar.
- SaaS experience.
- Product development.
- Experience in delivering software to customers.
- Experience in collaborating with internal teams.
- Experience of working with market insights and trends.
