Operational Enforcement Coordinator

You contribute to a safe and livable city and elevate a team of enforcement officers to a higher level. You combine coaching leadership with operational involvement.

What you do

  • Support, coach, and guide enforcement officers in their supervision and enforcement tasks.
  • Monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Actively contribute to improving working methods and collaboration.
  • Supervise the deployment of municipal enforcement officers (BOA), supervisors, and street coaches.
  • Guide briefings and debriefings.
  • Guide colleagues in their development and daily work planning.
  • Be substantively involved in selection and assessment interviews.
  • Coordinate the deployment of enforcement officers during events and holidays.
  • Prepare enforcement actions.
  • Provide expert support in (criminal) cases.
  • Lead team meetings and promote effective collaboration.
  • Translate policy and administrative wishes into workable processes.
  • Check written work, handle complaints and Woo requests.
  • Contribute to the professionalization of the team.
  • Advise on the deployment of employees and identify bottlenecks.

What they ask

  • Recognized, completed, and full diploma at minimum MBO 4 level in the direction of Enforcement, Supervision and Security (HTV) or a related study.
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years in an operational management and/or supervisory role, with direct responsibility for managing, guiding, and developing employees.
  • Demonstrable work experience in an operational environment where safety, supervision, and enforcement are part of the activities.
  • Valid driving license B.
  • BOA certificate or exemption for the competence requirement of the BOA act.
  • Specific VOG-P required.

Preferences.

  • Valid RTGB certification or willingness to obtain this certification in the short term.
  • Valid first aid diploma or willingness to obtain this diploma in the short term.
