Foreman Expedition & Port Logistics

What you will do.

• Support the Operations Manager and carry out all activities related to loading and unloading goods in various ports.
• Organize available warehouse space.
• Perform quality control on incoming and outgoing goods.
• Together with the crew, create a stowage plan and determine how the cargo should be loaded or unloaded.
• Monitor compliance with laws and regulations and perform administrative tasks.
• Lead expedition and site employees and participate in operations.
• Act as a point of contact for colleagues, customers, and other involved parties.
• Identify and prevent unsafe situations or other imperfections.
• Ensure correct execution of work and compliance with HSEQ regulations, also by third parties.
• Ensure optimal deployment of colleagues and equipment, so that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
• Guide, stimulate, and motivate (new) colleagues.
• Work irregular hours, including periodic weekend shifts.
