Within a project for the implementation of a new asset management system for public spaces, you will independently carry out conversion and implementation activities. An important part is the structured transfer of knowledge and working methods so that the organization can continue to work independently with the information model afterwards. This project contributes to future-proof management of public spaces.
What you will do.
- For each asset group, prepare clear conversion posters providing insight into available data, data to be converted, points to be discussed, and components out of scope.
- Establish and maintain mappings between source data, the information model, and the asset management system.
- Establish and maintain a data dictionary.
- Develop proposals for new legends and viewer displays that allow users to consult information model data.
- Execute and guide the conversion of existing datasets to the information model or newer versions.
- Perform conversions for test, acceptance, and production environments.
- Perform conversions during the freeze period prior to commissioning.
- Check the quality, completeness, and consistency of source data and converted datasets.
- Perform validations after loading data into the asset management system.
- Identify deviations, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities and advise on them.
- Check passports, object types, inspection forms, and data models for alignment with the information model or newer versions.
- Test the setup against agreed standards and conversion agreements.
- Translate inspection, maintenance, and measure data to the information model or newer versions.
- Advise on the relationship between relevant NEN standards, object data, and the information model.
- Check the translations performed and ensure correct delivery to the software vendor.
- Develop and provide training on the information model for functional administrators, data administrators, and users.
- Organize and facilitate information sessions, workshops, and working sessions.
- Support employees in interpreting and applying the information model.
- Actively contribute to knowledge building within the organization.
- Ensure a sustainable transfer of knowledge, documentation, working methods, and products to the organization.
Profile
- You support, advise, and train employees and actively collaborate with data administrators, functional administrators, specialists, asset owners, the software vendor, and project members.
- You are a strong content specialist who effortlessly translates theory into practical solutions.
- You easily switch between different stakeholders and build bridges between administrators, data specialists, functional administrators, project members, and suppliers.
- You have a proactive, collaborative attitude, advise, and guide people through changes.
- You function independently, are results-oriented, take ownership of quality, and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- You possess a flexible, open mindset, service-orientation, accuracy, analytical skills, communication skills, and organizational talent.
What they ask
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience with the Information Model for Public Space Management (IMBOR).
- Demonstrable experience with IMBOR 2025.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience with data conversions, data mapping, and data validation.
- Demonstrable experience with implementations of asset management systems for public spaces within the government.
- Demonstrable experience with setting up data dictionaries and mappings.
- Demonstrable experience with providing training, workshops and knowledge sessions.
- Demonstrable experience with management data within public spaces.
- Excellent oral and written skills in the Dutch language.
Preferences.
- Work experience within a government organization with more than 80,000 inhabitants.
- Experience with a specific asset management system.
- Experience with converting and structuring management data according to the IMBOR 2025 standard.
- Experience with management processes within municipal organizations and public spaces.
