Youth Coordinator

• Coordinate and motivate a team of volunteers and ensure the quality of training sessions
• Answer questions from parents and trainers and ensure timely communication via email regarding planning, open lesson days, and holiday arrangements, in collaboration with communication and administration managers
• Take the lead in organizing activities such as open lesson days, youth rock days, fun hall moments, and a local youth competition
• Follow up on registrations and waiting lists, manage the practical aspects of lessons, keep attendance lists up-to-date, and pass on climbing sessions for invoicing
• Be part of the core team, regularly attend meetings with the board and other permanent staff, and represent the youth segment of the club
• Teaching climbing yourself is optional and not a requirement

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an overview
• Clear and smooth communication, both via email and verbally, with volunteers, parents/climbers, and the core team
• A passion for climbing and an understanding of the importance of youth activities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to optimize youth operations
• A diploma as a youth coordinator, sports climbing initiator, or experience in coordinating a club or non-profit organization is a plus, but not a requirement
• An extract from the criminal record (model 596.2 for contact with minors) is required
