To bridge the recruitment of a permanent colleague, we are looking for an experienced Environmental Law Jurist. You will handle objections and appeals in permit procedures, planning blight claims, and levy objections. You will also represent the college of mayor and aldermen in objection and appeal cases. Additionally, you will support and guide colleagues on legal issues in the field of permit granting.
You will contribute ideas, propose solutions, and know how to deal with complex regulations, sometimes strong opposing interests between parties, and the administrative context in an environmentally conscious manner.

- Minimum a demonstrable completed hbo bachelor's degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as an environmental permit objection & appeal jurist
Preferences.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as an environmental permit objection & appeal jurist at a government organization
- Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as a college representative before the objection committee, court, and Council of State
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in providing legal advice on (complex) environmental permits
- Demonstrable work experience with case management system Rx.Mission
- Available for evening sessions: one or two Wednesday evenings per month
