This program focuses on reducing emissions, generating sustainable energy, and accelerating changes in primary processes. The program helps provide tools for sustainable work by conducting research, initiating pilot projects, giving advice, and developing policies in collaboration with line departments.
What you will do. As an Advisor Climate, Energy and Aquathermy, you will make a significant contribution to the strategy and policy development needed to achieve the goals of an emission-free water board. With a focus on greenhouse gas emissions, aquathermy, and renewable energy, you will be the connecting link between strategy and implementation. You will translate developments from the climate and energy transition into policy, projects, and concrete actions.
You will collaborate with colleagues, governments, companies, and other stakeholders. The program is constantly evolving, ensuring your work remains varied and dynamic. Your responsibilities include:
- translating national and regional developments concerning climate, energy, and emissions into policy and implementation.
- preparing policy proposals, advice, reports, and administrative documents for management.
- guiding projects and external assignments within the program.
- embedding new knowledge, working methods, and innovations within the organization.
- connecting colleagues and stakeholders and acting as a content point of contact for your themes.
In the coming years, you will also contribute to the transfer of program components to the line organization and to new sustainability challenges.
Profile
You are collaborative, strategic, and able to drive change. Thanks to your administrative sensitivity, communication skills, and proactive attitude, you know how to engage people in change. You easily switch between policy and implementation and feel at home in a rapidly developing environment.

- Education or demonstrable experience in energy transition, climate, or a similar field.
- Extensive experience as a (policy) advisor, (program) coordinator, or in a similar role.
- Substantive knowledge of or experience with energy, emissions, aquathermy, or related themes.
