Advisor for management and execution of safety and permit processes

• Coordinate with involved internal disciplines and relevant external partners.
• Develop a clear and future-proof distribution of roles, tasks, and responsibilities.
• Advise on how the organization and the safety and permit processes can be structurally secured.
• Deliver a concrete and actionable permit application.
• Analyze and improve processes, responsibilities, and collaboration structures.

• Experienced and independent advisor.
• Able to arrive at concrete, supported, and actionable advice, permit application, and event execution from various interests and disciplines.
• Works independently, analytically, and results-oriented.
• Knows how to translate findings into clear and practically implementable recommendations.
• Possesses political-administrative sensitivity and knows how to carefully weigh diverse interests.
• Familiar with collaboration between a municipality, emergency services, organizers, and other involved parties.

What they ask

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level or university degree in event management.
• Demonstrable experience with advising within a municipal and/or other political-administrative organization.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience (minimum 5 years) with the organization of events, preferably large-scale public events.
• Knowledge of municipal permit processes and safety issues surrounding events.
• Experience with analyzing and improving processes, responsibilities, and collaboration structures.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in organizing (large, business) events.
• Possesses an HBO-level event management qualification.
