An experienced BI & Data Analyst Expert is sought to support a major transformation program within a financial institution. The role involves modernizing existing BI and ETL processes and migrating towards a scalable Power BI platform, integrated with an enterprise application.
What you do
- Lead BI and reporting modernization initiatives.
- Design and optimize Power BI solutions using advanced DAX and Power Query/M.
- Develop efficient data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Manage ETL/ELT processes using SQL and legacy tools such as SAS, Alteryx, and Denodo.
- Ensure data quality, governance, documentation, and performance optimization.
- Coach team members and promote Power BI best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile environment.
What they ask
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering.
- Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query/M, SQL, and data modeling skills.
- Experience with Power BI Premium, deployment pipelines, and XMLA endpoints.
- Banking or financial services experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAS, Alteryx, Denodo, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory is desirable.
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
