In this role, you are the beating heart of a specialized company in green walls. You build unique moss walls, both in the workshop and on-site at the client's location. You advise clients, measure locations, create quotes, plan the job, and execute it (together with the team or other professionals). A delightful, varied role for a hands-on person with commercial and organizational insight.
What you do
- Manually create and build moss walls and moss panels in the workshop.
- Take care of the complete finishing: from gluing/stapling moss to placing frames and borders.
- Assemble and install the final products on-site at the client's location, including neat and broom-clean delivery.
- Visit private and business clients for accurate wall measurements.
- Assess the structural situation (which wall is it, how do we mount it, what is the accessibility?).
- Calculate and order the necessary materials (moss types, wood, glue, profiles).
- Follow up on incoming requests and review the client's wish list.
- Prepare and calculate clear quotes based on your own measurements or provided dimensions.
- Advise clients on different types of moss, colors, and acoustic benefits.
- Plan projects: when will production take place, and when will installation be?
- Manage (and collaborate with) any additional installers, production staff, or fellow professionals.
- Monitor delivery times and ensure everything is ready for the installation day.
- Document your work: take before-and-after photos and videos during production and installation.
- Contribute ideas for engaging social media content to attract new clients, directly from the workplace.
Profile
- Handiness and experience with hands-on work (e.g., affinity with interior construction, DIY, woodworking, or landscaping).
- Eager to learn: basic knowledge is sufficient; specific techniques for working with moss can be learned on the job.
- Hands-on with overview: enjoys physical work but can also effectively switch to administrative and organizational tasks.
- Customer-focused and presentable: the face of the organization on-site and on the phone, polite, solution-oriented, and enthusiastic.
- Computer literate: no difficulty quickly preparing basic calculations or quotes on a laptop and answering emails.
- Driving license B (for driving to clients and installation jobs with the company van).
