Work Supervisor

• Guide and motivate a group of up to 24 incarcerated individuals during production activities (e.g., making parts for roller blinds, labeling cans).
• Ensure proper execution of work and timely delivery of products.
• Conduct motivating and coaching conversations, and set clear boundaries.
• Take the lead and ensure compliance with rules, while supporting the incarcerated individuals in their development.
• Prepare the workshop and distribute tasks.
• Provide explanations, answer questions, and assist when necessary.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering goods, sending invoices, and tracking hours worked.
• Conduct progress interviews about the development of incarcerated individuals.
• Maintain contact with clients to ensure product standards are met.

What they ask

• Demonstrable MBO 4 working and thinking level (assessed with a capacity test).
• Some experience working in production, maintenance, logistics, metal, bread/pastry, woodworking, textile, or building maintenance.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and preferably also in English.
• Good physical and mental condition.
• Ability to set boundaries and conduct firm conversations.
• Ability to relativize and empathy, while maintaining professional distance.
• Enjoys working with groups of people, helping them progress, and always keeping an eye on safety.

• Onboarding period with an experienced colleague.
• Completion of a generic training and two job-specific training courses (total of 8 weeks, full-time availability required).
