Technical Documentation Officer

A producer in the food sector is looking for a precise and analytical colleague with an affinity for the food sector. You will be responsible for managing and updating technical product information, ensuring that all documentation complies with applicable laws and regulations and internal quality standards. You will directly contribute to safeguarding Quality Assurance processes.

What you will do.

• Manage and update technical information regarding raw materials (ingredients and packaging) and suppliers, in collaboration with Quality, R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Answer and follow up on customer questions about raw materials and finished products
• Prepare and maintain technical datasheets
• Ensure the traceability of all information provided to customers
• Take over tasks related to specification management, labels, and system transfers (AX) in the absence of colleagues
• Identify and implement changes in relevant food legislation within technical documentation
• Participate in projects within the Technical Documentation department

What they ask

• A completed bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition/Dietetics, or similar, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of quality standards such as HACCP, BRC, IFS, and ISO is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a critical, proactive attitude
• Ability to prioritize and effectively switch between different tasks
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• A structured and accurate way of working
• Fluent in Dutch and English
