Specialist labor market participation and integration

You work within the social domain with a dedicated team for and on the migration program.

  • You are a director, as described in the new Integration Act (Wet Inburgering), and perform executive tasks in the field of labor market participation.

What you do

  • Conducts broad intakes, draws up personal integration plans (PIP), and holds progress meetings (confrontational where necessary) with integrators.
  • Ensures, together with the integrator, the implementation of the PIP: such as the deployment of a learning route, unburdening, and guidance towards (labor market) participation.
  • Refers to (external) experts where necessary.
  • Guides integrators towards work and self-reliance, prepares them for this, and informs them about the legality of benefits.
  • Mediates between candidates and work and ensures a good match.
  • Reports on the progress of your caseload, the results achieved, and outflow. Prepares files and reports for this purpose.
  • Contributes to the connection between policy and implementation and plays an active role in the transition of services to the new Integration Act.
  • Works closely with other specialists, external parties, partners (e.g., the employment team), and generalists.
  • Makes an integral assessment together and consults with external institutions/service providers.
  • Advises other programs within the social domain.

What they ask

  • Familiar with the new Integration Act 2021 and experienced in working with individuals subject to integration obligations.
  • Familiar with the social map in the field of education, labor market, and integration.
  • Broad perspective on the entire integration process and the various living areas.
  • Experience working with different interests.
  • Completed training/course on the Integration Act, or willing to follow it (facilitated by the secondment agency).
  • HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Participation Act (Participatiewet).

  • Preferably trained in the field of labor reintegration.
  • Open to different cultural backgrounds and find it engaging to work with them.
  • Plans and organizes work and maintains an overview of the progress of the caseload.
  • Handles hectic situations well and can quickly switch between different situations and levels.
  • Does not shy away from discussing matters with colleagues or the client.
  • Dares to look beyond the usual paths.
