This assignment involves a tour with a junior company of a ballet organization. The tour will take place in the Netherlands, with an option for a continuation in Andorra.
What you will do.
- Set up and operate the touring sound equipment in various theaters.
- Connect the equipment to the theaters' PA systems.
- Be responsible for audio quality during performances.
- Ensure continuity between different performances.
- Work in a small team of technicians, especially with the lighting department for video projection.
- Initiate cues for pre-recorded music (no live musicians).
What they ask
- Experience in sound engineering on tour.
- Knowledge of (digital) audio and video technology and associated hardware and software, especially Q-Lab.
- A plus: ICT and network knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team.
- Collegiality, enthusiasm, and stress resistance.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
Practical
- Temporary contract for this production, with the possibility of a recurring assignment.
- Salary based on knowledge and experience, including an irregularity allowance.
- Payment via an on-call contract from the organization or through a third party.
- Fixed percentage for holiday entitlements and 8% holiday pay.
- Good pension scheme.
- Per diem and travel expense reimbursement.
- Accommodation will be arranged where necessary.
