We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a large-scale Agile transformation within a large European financial institution. In this role, you will act as a servant leader, coach, and change agent, working with cross-functional delivery teams to embed Agile values, improve delivery predictability, and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner closely with Product Owners, Team Leads, and other Scrum Masters in a scaled Agile environment, facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and learning.

What you will do.

  • Coach teams in Lean-Agile practices, promoting self-organization, accountability, and a growth mindset.
  • Lead and continuously improve Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, Big Room Planning, and Scrum of Scrums.
  • Assist teams with capacity planning, progress tracking (burn-up charts, delivery metrics), and improving predictability.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate cross-team blockers, organizational impediments, and inter-team dependencies.
  • Support effective backlog refinement, prioritisation, and alignment between business goals and technical delivery in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Ensure consistent delivery governance and transparent tracking using enterprise Agile management tools.
  • Track retrospective action items, promote inspect-and-adapt routines, and contribute to internal Agile Communities of Practice.

Profile

  • Experience: 9–15 years of professional experience, with a proven track record as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in complex enterprise environments.
  • Agile Expertise: Deep mastery of Scrum principles, Agile metrics, delivery tracking, and scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., ARTs, PI Planning).
  • Leadership & Soft Skills: Servant leadership approach, strong conflict resolution and active listening skills, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Tooling: Familiarity with enterprise Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Targetprocess, or similar).
  • Certifications (Preferred): PSM, CSM, SAFe SM, or equivalent Agile certifications.
  • Domain Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in banking, financial services, or large corporate / regulated environments.
