Work on IT that directly impacts the security of a nation and its military worldwide.
- Play a key role within a department focused on civil operational command & control and intelligence & security, where digital threats are daily business.
- As a Test Manager, you monitor quality, organize, plan, and manage test execution.
- Intensive collaboration with suppliers, reporting and advising on findings and risks.
- Ensure more efficient testing, faster feedback loops, and higher test maturity within your test team and with the supplier.
- The focus areas include several large applications that play a crucial role in primary processes, used by approximately 3500 colleagues and other investigative services.
- These applications are being elevated to a higher level in collaboration with an external software supplier.
- The team acts as a central hub between end-customers, the internal service organization, and the software supplier.
What you do
- Be the point of contact for testing and quality for your projects.
- Responsible for the entire testing process, from development by the supplier to final releases in production.
- Manage the findings process on behalf of all investigative services.
- Report to all investigative services on the quality of releases.
- Organize, plan, and coordinate activities related to all Acceptance Tests.
- Report and advise on test coverage, test results, and quality risks.
- Actively contribute to the testing policy and the professionalization of testing within the organization.
- Lead a team of 5 test specialists.
- Coach junior and medior testers.
What they ask
- Education: Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in computer science or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years (demonstrable) experience in the role of Test Manager in IT projects.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with (re)directing and addressing suppliers regarding delivered quality.
- Experience with setting up and guiding User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
- Excellent command of the Dutch language (C2).
Preferences.
- Experience within a government organization, preferably within the military police domain.
- Experience with the implementation of large, complex systems.
- Possession of TMAP Test Manager or ISTQB Test Manager certificate or similar.
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
