An international organization is working on ongoing and upcoming SAP S/4HANA projects. They are looking for an experienced SAP Production professional with strong SAP PP and APO experience who can take ownership of SAP Production activities, work closely with business and IT stakeholders, and provide both functional expertise and leadership across different SAP projects and initiatives.
What you do
- Leading SAP Production activities across SAP S/4HANA projects
- Taking ownership of the functional design and implementation of SAP Production Planning solutions
- Facilitating workshops with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, IT and key business stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into effective SAP Production solutions
- Providing hands-on SAP PP and APO functional and configuration expertise
- Designing, improving and supporting end-to-end production planning and manufacturing processes within SAP
- Analysing existing SAP Production and Planning processes and identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Supporting production planning, capacity planning, material requirements planning and manufacturing execution processes
- Coordinating cross-functional integration between SAP PP, APO and other SAP modules
- Supporting master data and transactional data migration, validation and reconciliation activities where required
- Supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT
- Supporting cutover, go-live and hypercare activities
- Managing functional risks, dependencies, issues and key design decisions
- Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, implementation partners and other SAP consultants
- Supporting business readiness, knowledge transfer and adoption of SAP solutions
- Acting as a senior SAP Production subject matter expert across different SAP projects and initiatives
What they ask
- A minimum of 6+ years SAP Production Planning consulting experience
- Strong SAP PP experience
- Strong SAP APO experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Proven experience in leading SAP Production activities or managing smaller projects
- Strong hands-on SAP PP configuration experience
- Excellent understanding of end-to-end production planning and manufacturing processes
- Good understanding of production planning, MRP, capacity planning and manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of integration between PP, APO and other SAP modules
- Experience facilitating workshops and translating business requirements into functional solutions
- Experience with SAP Production testing and implementation activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and IT
- Ability to operate effectively within complex international SAP environments
- Excellent English communication skills
