An experienced Test Engineer is sought for a team within a government organization. This professional will perform functional tests, develop, and maintain test automation. Together with colleagues in a Scrum team, you will ensure the functioning of an important application that is essential in claim processes. You will also perform testing activities for another application. You will participate in a multidisciplinary Scrum team.
What you do
- Monitor the test strategy within the team.
- Develop and manage automated tests.
- Determine test techniques and process them into test cases.
- Report on tests and findings.
- Document and update test documentation for test coverage and regression tests.
- Contribute to solution directions throughout the entire development process.
- Support other systems with testing activities within the cluster (if necessary).
- Coach colleagues on testing activities (for senior level).
- Determine which tests can be automated and argue when it is not desirable (for senior level).
- Advise on product quality in relation to requirements from a tester's perspective (for senior level).
- Deliver demos to the client (for senior level).
- Demonstrate exemplary behavior in customer focus, collaboration, and results orientation (for senior level).
- Identify trends, effects, and risks based on information ordering (for senior level).

- At least three years of experience as a senior Test Engineer (for senior level).
