A government organization is undergoing significant changes with a Digital Transformation program. Within this program, multiple teams are simultaneously working on complex change initiatives, including data-driven operations. The rollout of Power BI and the setup of data management are important components of this.
What you will do.
- Translate data questions from the business (real estate, finance, HR) into measurement plans and Power BI dashboards.
- Collaborate with the current BI expert and the data management consultant.
- Be responsible for translating reporting needs into measurement plans, concrete data specifications, and functional Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Build reports and dashboards yourself, or direct and guide others in their construction.
- Coordinate data delivery with the BI expert who manages the data warehouse.
- Coordinate data management issues with the data management consultant.
- Report to the Digital Transformation program manager.
Deliverables.
- Measurement plans per data issue (real estate, finance, HR).
- Concrete data specifications for implementation by the BI expert.
- Power BI reports and dashboards, built based on these measurement plans.
- Documentation of built reports and used data for sustainable safeguarding.

- Extensive hands-on experience with developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Demonstrable experience in translating data questions from the business into concrete measurement plans and data specifications.
- Experience in directing and guiding other BI developers in building reports and dashboards.
- Experience collaborating with data warehouse administrators and providing clear, actionable data specifications.
- Experience with setting up data management, governance, and data quality.
- Experience in (semi-)public implementing organizations with a strong focus on operational execution.
