Team Leader Safe Neighborhoods

You lead a team of (district) safety advisors, intervention specialists, PGA experts, and information coordinators.
- You are responsible for people (HR), resources, and content.
- You play a central role in creating a shared strategy and working method for your team.
- You are connected with other team leaders and the department management.
- You collaborate with chain partners in the city to ensure safety, from policy development to implementation.

- Coach employees and create a work environment where they can optimally utilize their expertise.
- Stimulate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
- Focus on an integral and implementable approach.
- Act as a content sparring partner and, where necessary, handle complex files yourself.
- Actively respond to societal and district-oriented developments.
- Provide input for reports and budgets.
- Timely involve other team leaders and department management and know when to escalate.
- Account for results, progress, and finances.
- Find the balance between content-related and leadership tasks.
- Use information from implementation to form policy and translate policy into implementation.

What they ask
- Demonstrably hold a recognized, completed, and full diploma at a minimum of HBO (higher professional education) level.
- Demonstrably a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a team leader within the safety domain or the public domain.
- Demonstrable experience operating in a political-administrative environment and coordinating with administration, management, and/or external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience with integral safety issues and collaboration with internal and external chain partners.
- A specific VOG - P (Certificate of Conduct - Public) is required.

- Demonstrable work experience within the safety domain.
- Demonstrably a completed education in the direction of safety, public administration, law, integral safety science, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience as a member of a management team within a public organization.
