An organization is looking for a Data Engineer for the Network Management Systems department.
What you will do.
- Responsible for the end-to-end management and continuous development of data processing with real-time data.
- Ensures stability, security, and performance through health checks.
- Supports upgrades and patching.
- Plans and implements necessary data refreshes in coordination with stakeholders.
- Guarantees data quality management.
- Realizes new business needs and integrations with surrounding systems through research, development, and continuous optimization.
- Designs and manages the infrastructure and pipelines (databases) required to make data available to analysts and data scientists within the business.
Profile
- 5 years of experience as a System Administrator in an ICT infrastructure environment.
- 5 years of experience building new data products, integrations, and projects.
- Experience with Data Management.
- 5 years of experience setting up and maintaining Linux environments.
- 5 years of experience setting up and maintaining Oracle environments.
- 5 years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL).
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Experience with Shell scripting.
- System engineer level experience with at least one of the specialized systems: Unix/Linux/Windows systems.
- Higher education (master or bachelor) or equivalent by experience.
- Strong eagerness to learn and proactive attitude.
- Experience with large business-critical applications.
- Experience with ISO27001 operations and a security mindset.
- 2 years of experience setting up and maintaining Apache Cassandra environments.
- Experience within SCADA systems is a plus.
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
