Within a program focused on information security and privacy, a privacy project forms the central pillar for strengthening and safeguarding data protection within a government organization. The assignment focuses on sustainably embedding privacy and data protection measures within processes, systems, and registrations.
What you will do.
- Further develop, implement, and operationalize a Privacy Management System (in accordance with NOREA PCF v3.0)
- Support the line organization in integrating and safeguarding data protection within business processes, systems
- Elaborate and operationalize privacy policy, frameworks, work instructions, and control measures
- Further develop and update PIMS registrations, including the processing register and measures overview
- Support process owners in the implementation of privacy measures
- Identify risks and translate them into concrete improvement actions
- Contribute to the further maturity development of the organization in the field of data protection
Profile
The candidate will work within a privacy project under the guidance of the project leader and in close collaboration with the privacy team, the (C)ISO function, program management, and process owners within the line organization. The candidate is able to advise at operational, tactical, and strategic levels and knows how to engage stakeholders within various organizational units in changes related to data protection.
What they ask
- Demonstrably holds a recognized, completed, and full diploma at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the field of privacy and data protection, gained in a role such as Privacy Officer, Privacy Advisor, Privacy Consultant, Data Protection Officer (DPO), or a similar privacy-focused role
- Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR, UAVG, and privacy governance, and holds a relevant certification in the field of privacy and data protection, such as CIPP/E, CIPM
- Demonstrable experience with implementing, setting up, or testing a Privacy Management System, such as NOREA Privacy Control Framework (PCF) or similar
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience with implementing a Privacy Management System within a government organization
- Demonstrable experience with information security, BIO, and/or ISO27001-related implementation projects
- Demonstrable work experience within municipal government
