ANIOS Occupational Medicine

As a basic doctor, you are curious about opportunities outside the hospital or general practice. Through a secondment agency, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with various occupational health services.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of occupational physicians, basic doctors, case managers, and practice support staff. You will guide employees who are absent due to illness or health complaints and help them with a sustainable return to work. You will look beyond just the medical diagnosis, by paying attention to lifestyle, working conditions, mental load, and other risk factors. Based on this, you will provide practical and medically substantiated advice to both employees and employers.

Within this role, you will also have the opportunity to discover whether further training as an occupational physician suits you.

What you will do.

• Conduct consultations and perform medical assessments
• Advise employees and employers on health, work
• Identify factors contributing to absenteeism and health problems
• Guide absenteeism and reintegration processes
• Advise on prevention, lifestyle, and sustainable employability
• Collaborate with occupational physicians, case managers, and other specialists
• Translate medical knowledge into practical and feasible advice
