"No one should be on the streets and everyone has a right to a home!" This is the starting point of Housing First. You will guide people who have obtained their own home after experiencing homelessness and will have the opportunity to contribute, as a pioneer, to the further development of Housing First in a specific region. There is room for two new colleagues within this team.
What you will do.
- You will guide clients who live independently with support from Housing First.
- You will work ambulantly, be on the road frequently, and work where your client needs you: at home, in the neighborhood, or digitally with a smartphone and laptop. There is also a fixed work location.
- You will be in contact with collaboration partners and coordinate with colleagues during regular team meetings.
- You will work based on the core principles of Housing First and will have the freedom to further build on the position of Housing First in the region, together with colleagues from a social organization and a collaboration partner.
- You will share and apply your knowledge and expertise in the field of Housing First.
- In due course, the target group will be expanded to include clients with a "Protected Home" indication, whom you will guide using the Krachtwerk methodology.
- You will support clients in various areas of life and help them maintain their housing and strengthen their independence.
- You will maintain contact with municipalities, housing corporations, and other involved organizations to provide appropriate support to clients.
- You will share knowledge about the Housing First methodology and your experiences, think along about growth opportunities in the region, and contribute to the further positioning of the organization in the region.
What they ask
- You believe in the power of Housing First and are energized by this way of working.
- You are open to the Krachtwerk methodology and interested in further developing yourself in this area.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge, contributing to the regional approach, and thinking about what clients, colleagues, and collaboration partners need.
- You enjoy working independently but also actively seek collaboration.
- A relevant HBO diploma (higher professional education).
- Experience in (ambulatory) guidance of socially vulnerable target groups.
- Experience with the Housing First methodology.
- Experience with complex issues within, for example, mental health care (GGZ), addiction care, or social shelter.
Practical
- The team consists of colleagues from a collaboration partner and a social organization and will initially comprise about four to five professionals.
- There is ample room to independently shape your work, while organizing client guidance collaboratively.
- A team meeting is held weekly.
- Colleagues consciously invest in getting to know each other, sharing knowledge, and fostering pleasant cooperation.
