What you do
- You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational physicians, basic doctors, case managers, and practice assistants.
- You will guide employees with health issues that affect their employability and participation in the work process.
- You will perform medical assessments and advise both employees and employers on health, recovery, sustainable employability, and reintegration.
- You look beyond the medical complaint and investigate which factors contribute to absenteeism.
- You actively seek opportunities to get people back into action.
- You learn how to translate medical knowledge into practical advice and how to play an important role in preventing long-term absenteeism.
- You contribute to prevention and guidance programs and advise on lifestyle, working conditions, and health promotion.
- Throughout the process, you will have ample opportunity to discover whether further training as an occupational physician suits you.
Profile
- You have a valid BIG registration as a doctor.
- You think in terms of possibilities and solutions.
- You are strong in communication and know how to motivate people positively.
- You like to take the time to thoroughly understand clients, their situation, and the impact of health problems on their lives.
- You are curious, analytical, and decisive.
- You are flexible and willing to travel to various locations.
