ICT Instructor

As an instructor, you guide students during their practical week at a government organization.

• They follow a two-year training program, spending three weeks at school and one week at a practical location.
• Here, they work on an overarching assignment where they apply their ICT knowledge in practice.
• At school, students learn the basics of their profession. At the practical location, they go a step further and learn to apply this knowledge in practice.
• For example, setting up networks and working with limited resources during exercises.
• As an instructor, you are more than just a teacher. You are a supervisor, coach, and point of contact for the students.
• You help them with their professional and personal development and teach them to work independently and solution-oriented.
• ICT is of great importance within the organization. Therefore, students also learn to work under challenging circumstances.
• As an instructor, you guide them in this and set a good example yourself: professional, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• You will work within the practical location of a training center of a military branch. Here, new military personnel are prepared for their future within the organization.
• In this training environment, you collaborate with experienced instructors and colleagues on the development of new military personnel.
• With your experience, you contribute to safeguarding and strengthening military craftsmanship within the next generation of military personnel.

What they ask

• Experienced and mature professional who is resilient.
• Recent experience within a similar organization and willing to re-enter or willing to become military.
• Minimum of a completed MBO-4 education in the field of ICT.
• Good ICT skills and experience with Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Azure, IOS, Linux, radio and communication systems, electrical engineering, and soldering is a plus.
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work with young people.
