Transport Coordinator

• Coordinate and record truck arrivals and deliveries according to the site schedule.
• Verify materials using packing lists, delivery notes, and shipping documents.
• Guide drivers to the correct unloading area and coordinate safe and efficient unloading with authorized personnel and equipment operators.
• Perform a visual inspection of materials and their packaging, check quantities and item references, and document discrepancies with precise descriptions and photographs.
• Update Excel files regarding planned, received, pending, damaged, missing, or incorrectly delivered materials.
• Accurately and promptly record goods receipts in SAP and retain associated signed receipts, packing lists, photos, and shipping documents.
• Participate in the management of claims, replacements, and corrective deliveries in case of anomalies.
• Participate in the selection of appropriate storage areas and ensure that materials remain identifiable, accessible, tidy, and protected against damage or loss.
• Sort materials by installation area, sequence, system, delivery batch, or material type.
• Coordinate with installation team leaders so that priority materials are available at the right place and time.

What they ask

• Prior experience in construction logistics, warehouse operations, material coordination, goods receipt, inventory management, or a comparable position.
• Experience in the construction sector, industrial projects, or installation projects is highly desired.
• Practical experience with SAP or an ERP, particularly in goods receipt, is desired.
• Good operational proficiency in Excel, especially for tracking, sorting, filtering, and creating simple status reports.
• Ability to read and understand packing lists, delivery notes, purchase orders, bills of material (BOM), and shipping documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
• VCA-VOL certification or willingness to obtain it.
