You will work as a security officer for a government organization responsible for the surveillance and security of various locations within the Kingdom. This organization is committed 24/7 to the protection of people and equipment. You will be continuously trained in the use of force and will work with a clear five-week work schedule.
What you will do. As a security officer, you are the silent force at the organization's locations. You will perform various tasks in collaboration with colleagues:
- Patrolling locations;
- Observing irregularities and monitoring camera footage;
- Detecting suspicious situations and acting effectively when necessary;
- Responding to alarms and using force if the situation requires it;
- Performing access controls and ensuring that only authorized persons gain access;
- Operating access systems;
- Providing support during emergencies.

Profile
- An MBO 2 Security diploma;
- Preferably previous work experience in security or as a military personnel;
- Dutch nationality (can be a second nationality);
- Physically fit, actively exercising, and a healthy lifestyle;
- Willingness to work in 5-shift services (day/evening/night and weekend);
- In possession of a B driving license (manual) and own transport for commuting.
Practical
- For the first few weeks, you will participate unarmed in the continuous service. Afterwards, an internal training of approximately 20 weeks will follow, of which 5 weeks will be internal at a training location, including training in the professional handling of means of force.
- A security screening and possibly a reference check are part of the selection procedure.
- A stability measurement (stress resistance and psychological resilience) will take place.
- You are willing to take the oath or promise for civilian employees of the organization.
